Experience the specialty cuisine of Siam right here in beautiful Bennington, Vermont. In the 1800s, King Rama V / Chulalongkorn initiated a national program to modernize Thailand. Part of this was to lift Thai cuisine by. He decreed that the fork and spoon would be the official dining utensils of Thailand. Royal Thai cuisine maintains it's authentic tastes textures and flavor profiles yet using proffessional culinary technics and higher quality of ingredients

In the late 1980s, The Lobby Lounge of the Mayfair Regent reigned as New York City's premier destination for Afternoon Tea, drawing the elite—Socialites, Artists, Politicians, and Celebrities alike. Adjacent to the renowned Original LeCirque restaurant, it was my privilege to serve as one of its young managers. Those cherished memories inspire us to continue this tradition, now honored through our Tea in the Parlor at South Shire. Pre-booking is required with at least 24 hours' notice.
Beer and wine are also available to complement the menu offerings.
