Drawing inspiration from the visionary King Chulalongkorn of Siam (Rama V), who reigned in Thailand from 1868 to 1910 during the Victorian era, our restaurant exudes sophistication while maintaining a comforting familiarity. We present an elevated rendition of classic Thai cuisine, paying homage to its rich heritage. Our commitment to authenticity shines through in every flavor profile, and our menu showcases the finest ingredients, prioritizing seasonality and local sourcing whenever possible

In the late 1980s, The Lobby Lounge of the Mayfair Regent reigned as New York City's premier destination for Afternoon Tea, drawing the elite—Socialites, Artists, Politicians, and Celebrities alike. Adjacent to the renowned Original LeCirque restaurant, it was my privilege to serve as one of its young managers. Those cherished memories inspire us to continue this tradition, now honored through our Tea in the Parlor at South Shire. Pre-booking is required with at least 24 hours' notice.
A curated selection of our favorite Vermont craft Beers and fine wines are available to enjoy in the restaurant, veranda courtyard or our parlor lounge.
